NOTES: Step 1: Take attendance on both sheets and turn in one to the front desk. Ask if there is anyone whose name you did not call. If their name was not called, check their id badge to make sure they are in the correct class. If they are not, you can have the teacher assistant take them to the correct class. If they are in the right class and their name is not on the roster, please add them to the list.
Step 1b: Please take attendance on both sheets. Put one in the folder and turn in the other one to the front desk. If students come in and are scattered across the whole auditorium, have them move in closer to the front so we can all be together.
1: Take attendance and mark it on both sheets. Put one sheet in the folder and send the second sheet to the front desk.
2: Intro to Batman Forever (have teacher assistants pass out popcorn if it is available)
3: Tell them, “You will be watching the Batman Forever movie made in 1995 today. We won’t be able to finish it this class so we will watch it and finish it next class. Ask them how many of them saw Batman Forever when it first came out. Thumbs up yes, thumbs down no.
4: While they are watching the first show, it would be a good time to collect the id badges from students. Have them put the string inside the plastic sleeve (or help them as needed) or have a student(s) pick up the id badges making sure the string is inside the plastic sleeve.
5: Pause the movie about 12:27 before class ends. Ask them who they liked better? Batman or Robin? Which foe or bad guy or villain did they like the most. Ask if any one wants to share why they liked it.
